Biography

Formed in early 2008, Salvia combines the ambient grooves of 80’s electro with the modern influence of hip hop and RnB. The goal is to make dynamic, atmospheric music that people remember the moment they hear it. Taking elements from different genres and fusing it to create something completely new and different.

Simon Villani

Simon Villani is a maths enthusiast who sees colors and objects in the world around him. Upon his arrival on the Melbourne music scene, Simon Cowell commented that he had the hair of an albino and that he “really needed a haircut”. Undeterred, Villani marched onwards to musical freedom and integrity; staunch in his beliefs and medium-length haircurls.

In his free time, Villani makes musical fusion by fusing together his two loves; Italian-based pizzas and musical beats.

Kym Huynh

On Twitter, Kym Huynh am a self-confessed serial procrastinator who majors in crossword puzzles and other things that are jolly. On Facebook, Huynh is a tyrant; his people subjugated… with a harem and slaves… and torture every Thursday. On his blog, he likes puppies, cookie dough and finding sunglasses that fit.

In his free time, he like to do things like rap in a really bad fashion, songwrite and torture people with his acting. He hosts two podcasts from the Bitwire network; Aimless Agenda, a morning breakfast-style show about nothing in particular filled with challenges every week, and WordCast, the world’s largest WordPress and blogging-related podcast.
